Hi all,
Another lovely O2C training row this morning. 21 members were on the water to enjoy the 12km row. Our Club Captain, Colin is away at the moment so I have volunteered to help organise the up coming rows for the next little while until his return shortly.
So just to get idea of :
(1) The O2C crews who have formed already.
(2) The members who would like to do the training rows only.
(3)and finally for members who would like do the O2C but still haven't a crew.
Could members please indicate out of the 3 options which one they are interested in. This will greatly help to facilitate future training rows as well as to help members form crews.
As an example our O2C crew is:
John M, Stacy Tinkler, Caitriona ni Maidin and Colm Burke.
For option 1, could each crew captain please list their crew here, putting their own name first. This will help me to put a whats app captains group together.
Option 2, will provide a list of interested training only members. From this list the O2C crew captain's will have a list to choose from in the event of one of their crew members not being able to make a row. A replacement crew member for a particular row as it were.
Finally if we have a list of people who would like to do 02C but still are not in a crew, this third option will help us to facilitate these members in organising a crew for them.
I hope all this makes sense.

I really enjoyed this mornings row.
As part of my work role with participants of Churchfield Community Trust, I am training with the lads on Fridays with Clare Hayden.
We still have a few weeks to go before they settle into crews and whether they will need me or not for the Monks-town course.
So for the time being, I would like to come to Sunday trainings and I am happy to float and fill in for crew members who cannot make a row.

Hi John - a few of us are putting together a mixed veteran 4-hand crew for the Cian O Sé trophy. I’ll post the names shortly.
I’ll put up a separate post about the Cian O Sé; likely some members will not know about it.
i won’t make rowing it this weekend either but plan to be back on an oar after that, including any more Sundays.
