Saturday Rowing Notice Board

Public rowing on Saturday 23rd of May is open to all, but will have less capacity due to some boats and some members enjoying Baltimore Wooden Boat Festival.

Public rowing is cancelled on Saturday 30th of May because we will be taking part in An Rás Mór, Ocean to City Race 2026 https://oceantocity.com/

For the foreseeable future the Saturday morning row will be at the new time of 10.00

Traditional Irish rowing with a bit of craic and beagáinín Gaeilge!

We are a Cork based rowing club, the club’s ethos is to provide access to the River Lee and to encourage the sport of traditional Irish rowing with a bit of craic and beagáinín Gaeilge (a little of the Irish language)!

Public Rowing

Interested in trying it out for yourself? Public rowing takes place Saturdays from our club, adjacent to Shandon Boat Club on Cork Marina.

Annual Membership

There are no pre-requisites to join the club, although we do suggest attending at least one public rowing session if you’ve never tried it before, you can find out more about those sessions above.
