Mike investigating the damage to Mainport Muireann. Skin torn at Bow Gunwhale, and likely to need a bit of MM support. Investigating options here.  Might flip her and allow the coats of paint while elevating bow area for the repairs at same time.  She is leaking like a sieve as well!

Poor old Ri Na Laoi, very wet these days, and likely to be next in line for a bit of TLC and paint in Reliance.  Once we bring back Ron Dubh, we can swap and bring in Ri Na Laoi.

An Bad Nua:

She is another in need of an urgent paint job, but also has an issue to be addressed with her bow/gunwhale.  We are to review indoors and sho MM who may make replacement section for repair job. If needed to get enough boats fit for trips and busy rowong sessions, we might make temporary timber repair to tide us over and have her painted. TBC.

She is a little in need of some TLC. There are some structural concerns to be investigated here as well, and likely to need MM support.  A while on a trestle may have settled her down a bit. Hope to move her to Reliance first for closer look, with MM and then maybe to workshop. When we have a few volunteers on site next, we might get morning or evening rowers in possible to lift her onto the trailer, which is now sitting alongside the cradle for us, and she can be pulled up to Reliance once a slot comes free.  All good. 😊

Will need them brought to town, and we can look at them in Reliance building. Bit of a backlog being worked through at minute and MM flat out preparing for Dragon Boat Challenge. 🙂 

Can we get some hardwood scraps (MM), s/steel screws, maybe waterproof glue for some of the small structural repairs? Have tools, just need materials and a double shot flat white!
