NOTICE TO ALL WHATSAPP GROUPS

We would like to take a moment to address an important issue regarding the use of WhatsApp groups within our club. While we acknowledge that these groups serve as a useful tool for rows and facilitating impromptu rows, it has come to the committee’s attention that some relevant posts have been deleted, leading to offence and upset among members.

Although we do not regulate individual WhatsApp groups, we ask that all members continue to engage with one another in a respectful and considerate manner. We encourage the use of the club forum when posting information but understand that the WhatsApp groups are handy. It remains common practice to post across multiple platforms to ensure that all members are informed and included.

Please note the deletion of posts that are relevant to organising a row goes against the club ethos, which is built on camaraderie, inclusiveness and to take any opportunity available to safely enjoy the water . Further misuse of administrative privileges may result in a request to suspend the WhatsApp group, with all row-related communications to be directed to the forum.
