May bank holiday weekend row (instead of the Blasket Island row which is postponed to later in the summer) from PP to Whites Bay, picnic on the beach, walk to lighthouse (if there is time) and return row to PP.

Hi Shane, the bank holiday Monday is the preferred day and the longer range forecast is looking good. If the weather forecast was a no go for the Monday, we were keeping options open to change. Claire and I are meeting after training row tomorrow to go through plans and post more information.

Muster at PP 8.30AM
Leave PP AT 9.30AM - head for Whites Bay via O2c start line
Arrive Whites Bay beach 11am approximately, picnic on beach.
Depart Whites Bay beach 12noon back to PP for 13.30
If conditions allow on the day we can do some exploring on the water.
Please note: we will be landing and departing from the beach in Whites Bay as there is no slipway or pier. Be confident you can get in and out of the boat over the gunnel.
Please sign up before Thursday 1st May 2025 so we know how many boats to organise from PP.
