Hi Elaine,

Will you add Jerry O'Flaherty to the row on Monday, please?

Great Miriam, we have a few more to add to the list after this mornings row, and a couple to take off the list, with a couple of unsure to confirm.

A Chairde,

Here is the list and crews as of now:

Marianne, Claire Paula Elaine                  4 Hander

Collette, Ruth and Colm T                      3 Hander

Jimmy A, Deirdre O S, Paul M, John T     4 Hander

Jim M. Yvonne, Donna, John O'Regan      4 Hander

Jack, Alan McN, Jerry O'F, Miriam M         4 Hander

Cathy B & John L                                   2 Hander

Susanne O'S, Oisín, (Colm OC?, Donie?)  4 Hander       If Colm O'C or Donie can't come then 3 Hander      If both Colm & Donie can't come then Collette's crew becomes 4 Hander  & one of the 4 Handers takes a steering oar.

Forecast as per windguru is looking good as of now for Monday and we have neap tides.

Muster 8.30AM at PP to get boats on the water to leave PP at 9.30AM

Route - we can row over towards O2c start line and then head for Whites Bay for stopover on the beach.  Plan is to be at the beach 11/1130am.

Bring water, suncream, picnic for on the beach, sun hat, sun glasses, your bouyancy aid or life jacket. Some extra light layers of clothing.  Dept Whites Bay 1230 approx.

We can decide if we want to do another stopover / exploring after beach stop - I hear there is a dolmen in the water near Whites Bay? - on the row back to PP.

back at PP at 3pm.

Looking forward to fab day out.  GRMMA go léir.

Claire agus Elaine.

@oneilgav Be great if you can come Gavin, we have a few dropouts for various reasons so still open for people to join.  I won't go firming adjustments to crews as it is probably best to wait and see the final final numbers.

Thanks Claire and Elaine for organising the trip today. Even if unpredicted wind caused a last minute change in route, it was still a most enjoyable trip. Well done.

Thanks for another great outing! Great rowing experience with all the wind conditions Cork Harbour can offer... A first for me to row in that section and also close to the Common Terns pontoons.. A hive of activity.. Go raibh mile maith agaibh Claire agus Elaine 😉

I heard yesterday from Rob Allison who was at the CHF launch that a black and yellow bag was found on the pontoon at Passage after we left on Monday.  It’s in the Shamrock stores in Passage and can be reclaimed there.

Thanks everyone, I hope the bag is claimed by its owner.

Really glad the row went well.
