Hi all 2 dates to keep in mind for August.

First up, The West Clare Currach Club is holding it annual fundraising row to Scattery Island with fun regatta while there on the 8th of August. All boats are supplied on the day, so no towing is involved. 14 of our members went the last time. As usual we will meet at the club to car pool.

Another great event to keep in mind is a 2 day fun regatta being run by the Carrlingford Currach Club which be will be held on the 29/30th of August. There are a large number of types of race pairings involved and this event is very much aimed at the fun Regatta Rower. Very similar to our own event held last April. The event itself is being held in Warrenpoint Co. Down. With all races from the beach there and with Bar B Que on going all day. Hospitality is second to none. 

Lots of local BnB's and camping options available.
