OUTCOME

The forecast was for good conditions - the actual was that conditions were ideal for the outing from Paddy's Point to Aghada.  We set out in a westerly 20kph (10 kn) breeze, enabling the sail to be hoisted on Magic Brat.  Caitlin mastered the steering from the No4 position using capsized oars, and the sail was used to assist Paul and Alan who rowed.  On arrival at Aghada Frank ONeill greeted us and led us to his new home, where we were treated to apple pie and coffee/tea.  Anxious glances out to the bay to fret about the headwind were not needed, by the time we boarded the boats it was generally calm, ideal for the row back.   We made a water and photostop between buoys 11 and 13.  Row from Aghada to fair rock perk was longer than than from the perch to the stop maybe due to tide.   Arrived at PP as full moon emerged - great day with special thanks to Frank
