#1 oar on Domhan Ealla broke on Monday on first stroke at a point where the rubbing strip was screwed into the oar. Not repairable in my view and should be replaced

As I understand it, there are some oars available for replacements?

Yes there should be replacement available in the short to medium term with other boats currently not in use

@jimmythegreek64 Good stuff. If oars are broken we would need to start making replacements anyway, but if there are spares available in interim thats good to hear! 👍

Oisin, we’re using Damhán Alla for O to C - I’ll take a look round the oars at the club tomorrow for matches for both broken ones in the meantime and report back. Cathy
