Hi all, The West Clare Currach Club are holding their annual row to Scattery Island again this Saturday the 20th. Its a fund raising event for their club, with a cost of 20 euros. It's planned to meet at Kilrush Marina at 11.30 where boats will be supplied by them for the row out to Scattery. No towing of boats is required. While on Scattery a fun regatta will be held. No experience is needed with all crews being pulled from the hat. Refreshments will also be supplied. The return from Scattery will be at 4.30. We had 14 of our members travelling the last time, with our very own Tomás Fenton's crew winning the regatta.
