Next Sunday June 28th, there will be an opportunity to boat upriver into Carrigaline where the maritime Folk Festival will be in full swing over high tide. The proposal is to come to the Sail Garden by boat from CrossHaven, or anywhere else, arriving at 16.00, and return downstream at 17:00 (High Water 17:30). Navigate the river by sticking to the channel clearly visible on Google maps satellite view..... Follow the north shoreline.

I will be participating on Fionnbarra... To get a few currachs participating needs someone to lead.
