The Pasaia festival runs from May 14th to 17th. Currachs from Kilrush and from Kildysart are participating.  I have booked a car and trailer Rosslare / Bilbao out on 8 May return on 22nd May.  The intention is to row 16 nm from France to Pasaia leaving from Digue d Cheveaux, which is close to Biarritz. A row West to Orion after the festival is an option.

The dates are quite close to O2C, and which boats travel will have to be determined with the committee or owners depending on the choice available.

In addition to availability of boats, we need to know we would have crew.  If you are interested in participating in this adventure and are available, please enlist here:

Hi Jack,

Would you please let us know how many boats will be needed for this row as soon as you can, please? We need to figure out how this trip factors in as we start putting together O2C crews and which boats are suitable for O2C and an out of town row, as well as scheduling any for maintenance before May 30th.

Thanks so much.

Kind regards,

Stacy

From Jack

Registration has been accepted by the organisers for a 2h and 2 4h naomhoga.  At the moment (April 1st), we have 5 interested, and a few "getting back to us".

I expect that the expedition will be one 4h Naomhog with sailing capability, and the 2h Caitlin.
