Hi All, 

Our club has been formally invited by Andrew O Connell from St. Michael's Rowing Club in Limerick to a weekend of rowing. The idea is to invite different clubs with different style boats to come together over a weekend so that we can try out one another boats. There will be Coastal Boats, Sculling Boats (slidy seats to us) and Currachs. So now is your chance to try out a different style boat in an informal and fun environment. It's a 2 day event, training in each boat type will be given on the Saturday with a Fun Regatta (short course) using all 3 boats being run on the Sunday.

This event is a pre-register and pre-pay event. The cost is 25 euros which covers the cost of the boats, beers and burgers.

For those intending on staying Saturday night,

there is a camp site in Castle Connell, which is normally only reserved for scouting events but is open to participants this weekend. It looks amazing and the cost is only 10 euros.

If you are interested please sign before next Tuesday the 1st when booking will close.
