In preparation for dark mornings and evenings, forward navigation lights have been serviced or newly installed on three 4h Naomhoga and two three hand racers at SBC.  These are 4h Rogaire Dubh, Ron Dubh, and Rinnceoir na Greinne and 3h Gabhlán Binne an Fáinleog. 

Reminders:

Please place the 4h boats with lights on lower stands and the 3h with lights beside the gate.  

Note that rowers are to bring white head lights and the stroke rower display a white headlight directed over the stern of the boat. 

2h currachs less than 5m long do not require navigation lights if white lights are displayed, visible from all directions.

Rowing in darkness is not done below bouy R16 which is downriver of Blackrock Castle.
