Hi all,

Due to increased safety concerns with the pontoon, it has been decided for the immediate future, that only 6 people may be allowed on the pontoon at any one time. This is during the launching & recovery of boats and while members are getting into & out of boats.

Shannon Boat Club has been contacted about our concerns with the current state of the pontoon. And they said that they will address our concerns as soon as possible.

Note: Can all Saturday Duty Captains and Mid Week Organisers of Rows please inform all members at these rows of the above protocol on the pontoon at the moment. And in accordance with safety, its the responsibility of all members to comply with this protocol.
