The annual general meeting shall take place on Friday 24th January 2025, please see attached agenda for the meeting and the meeting minutes from last year's meeting.
Notice of motion to be voted on at the AGM
Background:
At last year's AGM Maighread Kelly gave a short presentation on CLG formation to the AGM and seek a vote on whether to proceed with the discussions and carry out exploratory work. Once the work has been agreed to proceed the committee will bring it to the Members at an EGM/AGM to vote on proceeding to apply for CLG status. MK has sourced an accountant willing to support the committee on their application. MK issued a short presentation to all members prior to Christmas outlining the pros and cons of becoming a CLG.
Following discussions with the CLG working group the committee are now asking all members to vote on whether or not to progress to applying for Company Status - CLG (Company Limited by Guarantee). Voting can be done in person on the night or via proxy vote by emailing the club your preference.
