I just want to share that Laurence’s swimming friends are organising a gathering to remember him this Sunday on Myrtleville beach at 11am should anyone here like to join.

The Balliincollig Hill walkers are doing a fundraiser to bring Laurance home. Gerry Corkery tells me that he was fully insured and there is not a cost issue in getting him back. We would like to help, and I asked Gerry to liase with Ursula to find any special way we can support the family.
Thank you Andelain, I was not aware of Laurence’s passing until I saw your post, it was a beautiful tribute to Laurence today.
I’m thinking there may be some others who have not been rowing as much lately, who may not know. 😢

Laurence died of a massive heart attack. It would have been a very quick end.
