For all rowers attention, a birds nest has been discovered in Rón Dubh. Thanks to Bill for raising awareness, and Mairead for doing some research. It's probably a robin nest, and we are told that people taking a peek at it may cause the birds to abandon it, so please give our new feathered guests the space they need and leave it alone for the time being.

Thanks,

Colin

Thanks Colin,

I asked Roisin for an approximate time frame for the robins. If the eggs are a newly laid clutch, they would  take approximately 2 weeks to hatch and then another approx 2 weeks before they fledge so maybe a quick inspection in 1 months time should be fine.

Go raibh maith agaibh uilig,
