Hi All,

I have been informed that a number of members have not seen the notice on the club homepage put up last week. In response to traffic / parking issues raised by the motorists amongst us, we are experimenting with the earlier time of 10am for the row on Saturday 18th and 25th. We will then assess if this makes any difference and decide whether to change permanently or not.

Regards,

Colin

Hallo, Colin/Committee - my happence worth - Cork’s weekly Coal Quay market is on Saturday mornings.  The current 10:30 rowing start allows just enough time to get to the market and back before going down to the Marina.  On a bicycle !  Cathy

This morning's 10am start seemed to have worked very well with 7 boats on the water within the hour and there was parking available. Maybe it was a smaller group than usual with 27 rowers.

Thanks to all who gave their feedback on this experiment to move to 10am. The response generally was positive, so we have decided to continue at the earlier time of 10 o'clock for the foreseeable future

Hi Colin, the Public Row piece on the Forum will need to be changed as it still says 10.30.

Also, if amending the Public page,  perhaps we should amend the reference to having change for the all-important coffee..given that Cortado is card-only 😄

Thanks Triona.

2 good points.

I'll add it to the list of other things needing to be updated on the website
