Thank you Colin!
I have registered 3 boats for the race on Saturday. It works out at 10€ per person.
Martin and Rose have signed up as 1 participant between them (They'll tag team between themselves while 1 parents the other will row) so that makes 14 signups. And it's not too late to sign up either!
The weather forecast says GO!
As I mentioned in an earlier post, we'll load the trailers at 7 this evening. We can clarify who is towing, and if we will have enough people interested in any bit of rowing tomorrow, Friday.
See you then,
Colin
Late arrival to the party, if there’s room I’d love to come. Will be down for loading. Sinead
that's great Sinead. Long time no see, so due a catch up. The more the merrier. I count 15 signups, so we'll hatch a plan over some boat lifting this evening. See you then
Here's the programme of events, for those signed up, or for members who might get interested last minute (especially with the lovely forecast)
For Saturday morning, we need to allow time to unload boats and row to the race start, so meet at 8.30 for 9.00 launch and departure.
Colin
Hello everyone! Thank you for the brilliant weekend in Baltimore 🤗
just wondering about boat unloading?
A big thanks to everyone who made a great weekend possible, from Martin & Rob organising the event, Oisín towing, and the people peer pressured into enjoying the pilot race and all of the other jobs to make it all work
I'm sure you'll all agree, a special standout thanks to Colm for showing up just for the boatloading last Thursday. Even more impressive than the weather !
Fingers crossed that the plan to leave the 3 boats on the trailer ready to bring to o2c start line works out. It depends on a few other factors in the background. If need be I'll put out a call here and on the what's app group (apologies, I didn't get everyone's number)
