Dear Rota Captains,

We have included you on the Saturday morning rota, but let us know if you are no longer in a position to undertake same.  Please add the dates you have been assigned to your diary.  The row should start at 11, with members and newbies arriving from 10.30.

We have assigned 3 rowers per Saturday session to cover the various roles. 

• Anyone nominated as a Lead to check the weather forecast to determine if it is 1. safe for newbies, 2. only safe for a members’ only row or 3. if the row should be cancelled (often at the quay side). If you are unsure please contact the club captain (Donna), the vice-captain (Kate) or their helper (Susanne) who will help with that decision.  Please also remind your fellow rota captains. Where possible, a reminder to the next duty captains would be helpful.
• If you are designated as a number 2 please assist with new members and assist with receipting money; and if you are a number 3 please take charge of loading and unloading boats, locking up.

If  for any reason, you cannot attend on your designated dates, please arrange for appropriate cover.

Don’t worry if you are unsure or haven’t undertaken rota duty previously, any regular rowers are happy to help.
